DONATION Guidelines~

First and foremost... thank you to each lady who has so graciously given a donation or donations. From the bottom of my heart I thank you. What a blessing you are.
Donation Guidelines~ I am not able to accept any donation that is in any way related to Halloween, Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, etc.
I am a born again Christian and several years ago the Lord convicted my heart regarding these areas. Although not everyone shares in my convictions, Jesus has made me aware that they are Pagan and that they do not glorify God. This auction site ultimately belongs to Him, as do the precious children at Starfish Foster Home. So, as much as I appreciate these donations and I know they come from the love in your hearts. I am not able to accept them.
Thank you so much for your understanding and for your giving hearts for the children.
God Bless You,
Daleea

Our First Award...

Our Kimberley has so graciously given us this beautiful award.... Thank you sweet friend.... I am touched, honored, thrilled and oh, so blessed by you.... Thank you to each and every person who has donated, who has bid, who has helped spread the word about this site.... you are each precious and each one of you has made a difference in a little child's life...

I am sharing what she said about one of her other recipients of this award because she too is a big part of this site....

Amy from 'A Mother Singing'. Amazing woman, always has been. But I was reading one of her posts about how she now 'sees' the orphans of the world. They are not anonymous to her, she is aware of them and loves them, they are always on her mind and urging her heart. She is doing what she can to help and to cause change..even if it is one child at time.Which brings me to Daleea from 'One Child At Time'. My friend who had a vision of something that could be amazing and she worked and worked and created a project that is saving the lives of children in China.

Ok, I am suppossed to give this award to 7 people..... I am going to choose just a few of you that have given so much to help the children..... of coarse Kimberley and Amy but since they have already been given the award I will just mention them... hehee

Each of these ladies have contributed to the success of this auction.... has given so much of themselves time and time again to help the children.... Each of these ladies have made such a difference... One Child At A Time...

From the bottom of my heart I thank you.... You are simply.... Brillante!

Auction Item # 87 Limited Edition 'Hello Kitty' Lovie

This lovie is only one of only four that I will ever make. One of these was a gift and is in China, the other one is also a gift for Daleea's Isabella and I'm saving one for our second little one from China. You too can have one of these limited edition Hello Kitty lovies for your precious child. The soft cozy side is the softest material I have used for the lovies. My husband just keeps petting them like a dog or a cat. Have fun bidding on this limited edition lovie!
My poor husband is having a fit because of what I wrote so I guess I will tell the whole truth and really make him have a fit. :-) He was with me the day I bought this material. I was off shopping and he said here can you make a taggie with this stuff? Well, there is the rest of the story on this cute lovie. I have gone back since to buy the material and they no longer carry it. :-( That is the only reason it has become a limited edition.

Customized Adoption Toddler ABC Book (8 left)

Photobucket

This book is an ABC book that shares your child's journey to their forever family. She will need you to send her 26 pictures of your choosing to use in the book. Also, the province your child was born in. Information like that to personalize it for your child. For instance for my Hannah "J" would be for JiangXi where she was born. I think it could be done for more than one child. If you have two children from China she could use the letter that begins each province and say that "J is for JiangXi where Hannah was born." Hope this helps... this is truly a beautiful donation that your child will treasure for years to come... it is a story of their journey. For Hannah "S" is for Shangrou where your birth mother placed you where you could be found."
Debbie at Pixel Fairy PrincessIt is an ABC Toddler book that tells the story of their journey, it begins with A is for Adoption. I can produce a 7x7 hardcover book for a donation of $200, of which Starfish will receive a $100 donation, and a 12X12 leather hardcover book for $285, and Starfish will receive a $150 donation. I will do 10 books and each book will be semi-customized to the child - the parent will have to send me images - I will retouch and add, apply artistic styles to to go with the pages. Families will also receive a DVD of their book set to music. My style can be seen by viewing my blog. I wish that I could donate the entire amount - but I have to buy commercial licenses for my materials and cover the cost of postage and the books.--If you want to order one of these original books. Please leave a comment with the size of book you want. 7x7 - make a $100.00 donation to Starfish, email me the receipt and I will forward your info to Debbie so she can contact you to receive the final payment and to get what she needs to create your special book.
