If you would like to bid on an item:
*Please place your bid by leaving your Name, Email, and Bid Amount in the comments section of the item you are bidding on.
If you have an item you would like to donate:
*Please email me with a picture and s&h charge at jewelsofmyheart@yahoo.com.
IF YOU WIN THE AUCTION:
*Please pay your high bid amount directly to Starfish Children's Services by clicking on the link on the sidebar. (Under GIFT INFORMATION please mark ON BEHALF OF and type in SURGERY FUND. *Please forward the receipt they email you to
jewelsofmyheart@yahoo.com with your shipping address.
I will then email the person who has donated your item so they can get it mailed out to you. They will then be able to email you back if there is a Shipping charge with their address to send it to or how to pay them via PayPal.

Donation Guidelines~ I am not able to accept any donation that is in any way related to Halloween, Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, etc.
I am a born again Christian and several years ago the Lord convicted my heart regarding these areas. Although not everyone shares in my convictions, Jesus has made me aware that they are Pagan and that they do not glorify God. This auction site ultimately belongs to Him, as do the precious children at Starfish Foster Home. So, as much as I appreciate these donations and I know they come from the love in your hearts. I am not able to accept them.
Thank you so much for your understanding and for your giving hearts for the children.

DONATION GUIDELINES

First and foremost... thank you to each lady who has so graciously given a donation or donations. From the bottom of my heart I thank you. Faith, Hope, and Love said...: Daleea, I respect you for standing by your convictions. You are the one volunteering your time for the sake of these children. Even when we may not all have the same convictions we must respect one another when in their home. This is your home...your auction. I was going to donate a Halloween item and you could not accept. I had the choice to walk away or make something else. I chose to make something else and it brought the babies much more than I believe the Halloween set would have. Praise God! Paula said...: I agree. This is Daleea's home and when we are here we respect her rules. Anyone is able to start thier own auciton site and impose their own rules. The more sites to raise $$ for the children the better!

More Information on the Auction

There have been some questions as to when the auction items will close. What I have been doing is listing each item. After it has started receiving a lot of bids I am posting a close date that will still give others an opportunity to find their way here and place a bid if they like. Some of the items that have very generous bids I will go back and move the closing date up. When I do this I will always leave at least 2 days for others to still bid in case they were waiting for the closing date.Thank you all so much for bearing with me... I am new to all of this and am trying to figure out the best way to go about everything that will make it fun for everyone and most beneficial to the children.
When the auction item closes and you are the high bidder... Once you have paid for the auction via the STARFISH LINK on the sidebar. Please forward the receipt Starfish emails you to jewelsofmyheart@yahoo.com with your mailing address. I will then contact the person who donated your item and give them your shipping address and email. They will email you to make arrangements to receive the shipping charge if there is any either by mail or PayPal.
If you would like to make a donation to the auction please send me an email with a picture, description and shipping charges.Thank you again friends.... you are wonderful.

Starfish Story...

An older man was walking along a beach when he saw a young boy. Along the shore were many starfish that had been washed up by the tide and were sure to die before the tide returned. The boy was walking slowly along the shore and occasionally reached down and tossed a beached starfish back into the ocean.
The older man, hoping to teach the boy a little lesson in common sense, walked up to the boy and said, "I have been watching what you are doing, son. You have a good heart, and I know you mean well, but do you realize how many beaches there are around here and how many starfish are dying on every beach every day? Surely, such an industrious and kindhearted boy such as yourself could find something better to do with your time. Do you really think that what you are doing is going to make a difference?"
The boy looked up at that man, and then he looked down at a starfish by his feet. He picked up the starfish, and as he gently tossed it back into the ocean, he said, "For this one, it makes a difference."
