*Please pay your high bid amount directly to Starfish Children's Services by clicking on the link on the sidebar. (Under GIFT INFORMATION please mark ON BEHALF OF and type in SURGERY FUND. *Please forward the receipt they email you to
jewelsofmyheart@yahoo.com with your shipping address.
I will then email the person who has donated your item so they can get it mailed out to you. They will then be able to email you back if there is a Shipping charge with their address to send it to or how to pay them via PayPal.

DONATION Guidelines~

First and foremost... thank you to each lady who has so graciously given a donation or donations. From the bottom of my heart I thank you. What a blessing you are.
Donation Guidelines~ I am not able to accept any donation that is in any way related to Halloween, Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, etc.
I am a born again Christian and several years ago the Lord convicted my heart regarding these areas. Although not everyone shares in my convictions, Jesus has made me aware that they are Pagan and that they do not glorify God. This auction site ultimately belongs to Him, as do the precious children at Starfish Foster Home. So, as much as I appreciate these donations and I know they come from the love in your hearts. I am not able to accept them.
Thank you so much for your understanding and for your giving hearts for the children.

Auction Item # 56 Customized ABC Toddler Book

It is an ABC Toddler book that tells the story of their journey, it begins with A is for Adoption. I can produce a 7x7 hardcover book for a donation of $200, of which Starfish will receive a $100 donation, and a 12X12 leather hardcover book for $285, and Starfish will receive a $150 donation. I will do 10 books and each book will be semi-customized to the child - the parent will have to send me images - I will retouch and add, apply artistic styles to to go with the pages. Families will also receive a DVD of their book set to music. My style can be seen by viewing my blog. I wish that I could donate the entire amount - but I have to buy commercial licenses for my materials and cover the cost of postage and the books.--

If you want to order one of these original books. Please leave a comment with the size of book you want. 7x7 - make a $100.00 donation to Starfish,email me the receipt and I will forward your info to Debbie so she can contact you to receive the final payment and to get what she needs to create your special book. For a 12x12- the same only please donate $150.00

More Information on the Auction

There have been some questions as to when the auction items will close. What I have been doing is listing each item. After it has started receiving a lot of bids I am posting a close date that will still give others an opportunity to find their way here and place a bid if they like. Some of the items that have very generous bids I will go back and move the closing date up. When I do this I will always leave at least 2 days for others to still bid in case they were waiting for the closing date.Thank you all so much for bearing with me... I am new to all of this and am trying to figure out the best way to go about everything that will make it fun for everyone and most beneficial to the children.
When the auction item closes and you are the high bidder... Once you have paid for the auction via the STARFISH LINK on the sidebar. Please forward the receipt Starfish emails you to jewelsofmyheart@yahoo.com with your mailing address. I will then contact the person who donated your item and give them your shipping address and email. They will email you to make arrangements to receive the shipping charge if there is any either by mail or PayPal.

Starfish Story...

An older man was walking along a beach when he saw a young boy. Along the shore were many starfish that had been washed up by the tide and were sure to die before the tide returned. The boy was walking slowly along the shore and occasionally reached down and tossed a beached starfish back into the ocean.
The older man, hoping to teach the boy a little lesson in common sense, walked up to the boy and said, "I have been watching what you are doing, son. You have a good heart, and I know you mean well, but do you realize how many beaches there are around here and how many starfish are dying on every beach every day? Surely, such an industrious and kindhearted boy such as yourself could find something better to do with your time. Do you really think that what you are doing is going to make a difference?"
The boy looked up at that man, and then he looked down at a starfish by his feet. He picked up the starfish, and as he gently tossed it back into the ocean, he said, "For this one, it makes a difference."
